My youngest sister is one of the most creative people I know. She had been creating gifts and homemade projects for people since she was three years old, but never saw her talent as an outlet for herself to make money and capitalize on what she could do... that's where I came in.

For her 16th birthday, I started an Instagram account for her, launched it with a massive giveaway, and surprised her with it as her present. The account took off, gaining hundreds of followers in a matter of hours, with countless orders for a 'tailor-made' pair of shoes.

Since launching, she's completed multiple brand partnerships (including a multi-thousand-dollar deal with a credit union), monogramming popups for custom shoe art, and hundreds of custom shoe orders. To date, she's made over $10,000 and secured her college scholarship with an amazing story... arguably the best birthday present ever, in my opinion.
